Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. เรื่องย่อ

เหตุการณ์ระทึกขวัญนี้เกิดขึ้นโดยไม่มีลางบอก เมื่อจู่ ๆ ไฟประหลาดก็ลุกท่วมร่างของผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งจนเสียชีวิต และเธอคือคนไทยรายแรกที่เกิดปรากฏการณ์ไฟลุกท่วมตัวโดยฉับพลันนี้

“โมนา” (บงกช คงมาลัย) ลูกสาวของผู้ตาย เป็นนักค้าหุ้นสาวผู้ทะเยอทะยานต้องเข้ามาพัวพันกับเหตุการณ์นี้อย่างไม่ทันตั้งตัว และเธอไม่อาจทำใจได้ที่อยู่ ๆ แม่ก็มาตายจากไป ทั้ง ๆ ที่ยังไม่ได้ปรับความเข้าใจกัน

เหตุการณ์นี้ทำให้เธอได้พบกับ “พลอย” (อาชิรญาณ์ ภีระพัภร์กุญช์ชญา) พยาบาลสาว ซึ่งแม่ของเธอก็ต้องชะตากรรมถึงตายด้วยไฟลุกท่วมตัวโดยไม่ทราบสาเหตุอย่างไม่ผิดแผกกันเลย นี่เป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้โมนาและพลอยต้องพยายามสืบหาสาเหตุที่แท้จริงให้ได้ว่า อะไรกันแน่ที่เกิดขึ้นกับแม่ของพวกเธอ

รวมถึง “ดอน” (ชลัฏ ณ สงขลา) นายตำรวจหนุ่มเจ้าของคดีนี้ แม้จะได้รับคำสั่งจาก “วัง” (สุธีรัชย์ ชาญนุกูล) หัวหน้าของเขาให้ปิดคดีนี้ว่าเป็นอุบัติเหตุไปแล้วก็ตาม แต่ด้วยความสงสัยและยึดมั่นในความถูกต้องยุติธรรม เขาจึงต้องร่วมสืบหาความจริงของเหตุการณ์ลึกลับนี้และหยุดยั้งมันให้ได้ แม้จะรู้ว่ากำลัง “เล่นกับไฟ” อยู่ก็ตาม
